Carpentry Pathway

Carpentry Pathway

To complete a concentration in Carpentry, students must:

  • Complete the three (3) required construction courses listed below.

  • Complete one (1) additional CTE course from any CTE pathway offered at Mountain Heritage High School.

Required Courses: Construction Core
Carpentry I
Carpentry II  (Upper Level Course)

Supplemental Courses (not required): CTE Internship

Students have the opportunity to  earn the following credentials in this pathway:

NCCER Construction
OSHA 10-Hour Industry Certification (Construction)

Electrical Trades Pathway

Electrical Trades Pathway

To complete a concentration in Electrical Trades, students must:

  • Complete the three (3) required Electrical Trades courses listed below.

  • Complete one (1) additional CTE course from any CTE pathway offered at Mountain Heritage High School.

Required Courses: Construction Core
Electrical Trades I
Electrical Trades II  (Upper Level Course)

Supplemental Courses (not required): CTE Internship

Students have the opportunity to  earn the following credentials in this pathway:

NCCER Construction
OSHA 10-Hour Industry Certification (Construction)

Heavy Equipment Operation Pathway

Heavy Equipment Operation Pathway

To complete a concentration in Heavy Equipment Operation, students must:

  • Complete the three (3) required Heavy Equipment Operation courses listed below.

  • Complete one (1) additional CTE course from any CTE pathway offered at Mountain Heritage High School.

Required Courses: Construction Core
Introduction to Heavy Equipment
Heavy Equipment Operation II  (Upper Level Course)

Supplemental Courses (not required): Heavy Equipment Operation III
CTE Internship

OSHA 10-Hour Industry Certification (Construction)

Interior Design Pathway

Interior Design Pathway

To complete a concentration in Drafting, students must:

  • Complete the two (2) required Interior Design courses listed below.

Complete two (2) additional CTE courses from any CTE pathway offered at Mountain Heritage High School.

Required Courses: Interior Design I
Interior Design II (Upper Level Course)

Supplemental Courses (not required): Adobe Visual Design
CTE Internship

Students have the opportunity to  earn the following credentials in this pathway:

American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences (AAFCS) Pre-Professional Assessment and Certification in Interior Design Fundamentals

Masonry Pathway

Masonry Pathway

To complete a concentration in Masonry, students must:

  • Complete the three (3) required Masonry courses listed below.

Complete one (1) additional CTE courses from any CTE pathway offered at Mountain Heritage High School.

Masonry II (Upper Level Course)
