A new bus was recently delivered to Yancey County Schools. This bus will be used to transport students to various workplaces for paid internships as well as local, regional and state CTE competitions. The purchase of this new bus was made possible due to a grant received from Dogwood Health Trust.
CTE Director Cynthia Deyton shared, “We are so excited to have the CTE bus. This is a big step forward in helping us provide increased accessibility to CTE activities for students who do not have transportation. We are very thankful to Dogwood Health Trust for their support in helping to meet our students' needs!”
